New: Annoucement and Schdeule Welcome to the 2009 Wuhan International Conference on the Environment (WICE, 2009), to be held from October 15-18, 2009 in Wuhan, which is the first experimental city for the development of a “Resource-Saving and Environment-Friendly” Civil Society in China. The aims of this conference are to serve as an interdisciplinary scientific forum to present the most recent advances in environmental science and technology, and to foster integration of the latest scientific developments into practical applications for the improvement of human health, environmental protection, clean and renewable energy, and green-city development. The sessions focusing on the development of environment-friendly cities and societies and environmental law, ethics and management are also included. It is our hope that the integration of a variety of environmental sciences including basic environmental research, environmental engineering, ecology, and management on social and economic activities will provide effective solutions to complex environmental problems. Environmental scientists, engineers, consultants, vendors, management professionals, regulatory agency representatives, and decision-making officials will all benefit from this opportunity to exchange information and discuss the latest development in environmental research and applications.
To encourage worldwide environmental scientists, engineers, consultants, vendors, management professionals to participate in the conference and to appreciate their supports to the conference, the conference organizers will provide all oversea’s invited speakers and other important participants with free four or five-star accommodation, meals, and conference-related services during the meeting period. Registration for conference participants can be booked only through the conference website with completion of fee payment through mail.
